Governor Balochistan Vows Equal Opportunities for All Educational Institutions
Committed to modernizing Cadet Colleges with advanced facilities, scholarships, and technology, says Jaffar Khan Mandokhail

Governor Balochistan **Jaffar Khan Mandokhail** has reaffirmed his commitment to eliminating disparities in opportunities and facilities among cadet colleges and other educational institutions across the province.
Speaking to the **cadets of Cadet College Killa Saifullah** during their visit to the Governor House Quetta, Governor Mandokhail said that efforts are being made to ensure that **teachers and students of cadet colleges** receive the same benefits — including **promotions, scholarships, laptops, and other educational incentives** — as those available in universities and colleges across Balochistan.
He emphasized that the provincial government is taking **progressive and concrete measures** to develop cadet colleges on modern lines, equipping them with **state-of-the-art infrastructure, resources, and technology** to promote holistic growth and provide students with a competitive edge.
Welcoming the cadets, he highlighted the **historic importance of the Governor House**, one of the oldest buildings from the British era, and advised students to embrace **discipline and hard work** as the key to securing a bright future.
“The youth are our greatest asset,” the Governor said, adding that serving the nation and contributing positively to society should be the guiding principles of every young citizen. He encouraged the cadets to **benefit from the experience and guidance of their dedicated teachers**, and to develop **leadership qualities alongside academic excellence**.
Governor Mandokhail praised **Commandant Brigadier Shiraz Latif Khan** for his efforts in providing quality education while also focusing on character building and moral development of the cadets. He noted that teamwork and mutual cooperation are essential to overcoming life’s challenges and achieving common goals.
In response to a question, the Governor stressed that **updating the curriculum to align with modern needs and human development** is essential. He said the government aims to expose all cadets to **modern scientific knowledge and innovations** to prepare them for future challenges.
He also appreciated the students of Cadet College Killa Saifullah for maintaining **time management and balance between academics and extracurricular activities**. Earlier, the visiting cadets were given a tour of various sections of the Governor House.
