Sindh Govt Announces Free Pink Scooties for Hyderabad After Karachi and Sukkur

Karachi: The Sindh government has announced that after Karachi and Sukkur, free “Pink Scooties” will soon be distributed to women in Hyderabad as part of its initiative to empower female commuters.
Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that following the successful launch in Sukkur, the program will now be extended to Hyderabad. He added that along with free scooties, women will also be provided with driving licenses, helmets, and proper training.
He emphasized that women’s empowerment and confidence-building remain top priorities for the provincial government, and several initiatives are being introduced to support this goal.
Sharjeel Memon further revealed that the Peoples Bus Service network is being expanded after Sukkur and Shikarpur. New routes from Khairpur to Rohri and Khairpur to Ranipur will soon be launched. Additionally, in Hyderabad, routes from Kohsar to Hyder Chowk and Hyderabad to Tando Allahyar are also expected to begin operations shortly.
He noted that these projects aim to provide affordable, comfortable, and reliable transportation to the public, particularly benefiting women, youth, and the working class.
