Islamabad: Pakistan’s reported role in easing tensions between United States and Iran has gained international attention, with some media outlets describing it as a significant diplomatic development that could serve as a “wake-up call” for regional rivals, particularly India.
According to a report by a Singapore-based broadcasting outlet, Pakistan’s engagement in facilitating communication between the two countries highlights its emerging diplomatic relevance on the global stage. In Washington, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reportedly acknowledged Pakistan’s role, stating that it had played “incredibly effective mediation” and emphasized the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts through Pakistan.
