49 Terrorists Killed in Security Operations Across KP, Balochistan: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: A total of 49 terrorists were killed during security operations conducted over the past few days in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan against what the military described as Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), multiple intelligence-based operations were carried out in the districts of Bannu, North Waziristan, Orakzai and Khyber in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During these operations, 12 militants belonging to the Indian-backed Fitna al-Khawarij were killed.
A large quantity of explosives, IED-detonating remotes, weapons, ammunition and motorcycles were also recovered and destroyed during the operations.
In Balochistan, 10 intelligence-based operations were conducted against militants affiliated with what the military described as the Indian-backed Fitna al-Hindustan in the districts of Mastung, Mashkel, Khuzdar and Panjgur.
According to the ISPR, 37 terrorists were killed during the operations. A large quantity of weapons, explosives and remote-detonation devices were also seized and subsequently destroyed.
The military’s media wing said security forces and law-enforcement agencies would continue operations until the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism was completely eliminated from the country.
