PPP Leader Amir hamza Zehri Hails Pakistan Army’s Bravery, Celebrates National Victory
Quetta:Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Provincial Advisor for Local Government, Nawabzada Amir Hamza Zehri, has lauded the Pakistan Army’s response to recent tensions with India, particularly during the *Bunyan-e-Marsous* operation. In a statement marking *Yom-e-Tashakkur* (Day of Thanksgiving), Zehri commended the army’s decisive action, which he said delivered a powerful message to India and proved that the Pakistani military is equipped to face any global challenge.
“The army’s early morning operation sent a clear message to India,” said Zehri. “It demonstrated that Pakistan’s armed forces are capable of confronting any adversary with full strength and resolve. The purpose of celebrating *Yom-e-Tashakkur* is to thank Allah for granting Pakistan’s military a decisive victory against its enemy.”
Zehri reiterated that Pakistan has always sought peaceful relations with its neighbors, but India, seeing Pakistan’s restraint as weakness, used the *Pahalgam incident* as an excuse for aggression. He emphasized that despite India’s provocations, Pakistan’s military responded forcefully, bringing pride and honor to the nation.
“Pakistan is a peaceful country and has always desired good relations with its neighbors. However, India misunderstood our silence as a sign of weakness. The *Pahalgam* incident was used by India as a pretext for aggression, but Pakistan’s armed forces gave a befitting reply, and the nation stood tall,” Zehri stated.
He also praised the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces to the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. “Our military and nation stand united as a solid wall when it comes to defending our homeland,” he continued. “This victory is a tribute to our brave soldiers who forced the enemy to retreat.”
Zehri stressed that the Pakistan Army had demonstrated its commitment to the nation’s defense by responding to aggression with equal, if not greater, force, proving that Pakistan will never compromise on its territorial integrity.
On *Yom-e-Tashakkur*, Zehri expressed his deep gratitude to the Pakistani soldiers who sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation. He paid tribute to the bravery of the armed forces and extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers.
“Today, we salute the brave soldiers of Pakistan’s armed forces who laid down their lives for our country. We stand with their families and offer our deepest sympathies,” he concluded.
