Pakistan’s UN Envoy Saima Saleem Accuses India of “Exporting Terrorism” at Security Council

At a debate in the United Nations Security Council, Pakistani diplomat Saima Saleem accused India of “exporting terrorism” and raised serious allegations regarding regional security and human rights.
During her speech at the United Nations Security Council debate, Saleem said that civilians in Indian-administered Kashmir are being killed, detained, and forcibly displaced.
She further alleged that groups such as Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, Baloch Liberation Army, and the Majeed Brigade are being used as proxy networks operating with Indian support.
Saleem also claimed that attacks have been planned and facilitated from Afghan territory, while rejecting accusations from the Afghanistan Taliban government, calling them part of a “misleading campaign.”
The remarks come amid ongoing diplomatic tensions in the region, with both Pakistan and India frequently trading allegations over militancy and cross-border security concerns.
