Saudi Authorities Announce 1.7 Million Pilgrims Performed Hajj This Year

Islamabad (Special Correspondent) – The Saudi General Authority for Statistics has announced that the total number of pilgrims who performed Hajj 2026 has reached 1,707,310.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), 1,546,655 pilgrims arrived from outside Saudi Arabia through various routes, while the number of domestic pilgrims, including citizens and residents, stood at 160,646.
The authority stated that among the total pilgrims, 893,396 were men and 813,905 were women.
Out of the foreign pilgrims, 1,485,729 arrived by air, 54,429 by land, and 6,497 by sea routes. Pilgrims from abroad represented 165 different nationalities.

The report further noted that 388,700 pilgrims benefited from the Makkah Route Initiative.
The statistics were issued based on administrative records provided by the Ministry of Interior.
Last year, a total of 1,673,230 pilgrims performed Hajj, including 1,506,576 from abroad and 166,654 domestic pilgrims.
