Pakistan Supports Peaceful Resolution of Longstanding Conflicts: Ishaq Dar

Islamabad (Special Correspondent) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan strongly supports the peaceful resolution of longstanding disputes.
Addressing a debate at the United Nations Security Council on international and security restoration, Ishaq Dar expressed gratitude to China’s Foreign Minister for convening the important session, stating that the timing of the meeting was highly appropriate in the current global situation.
He said that the UN Charter lays down principles governing relations between states, while the United Nations has also granted rights of equality and self-determination to people.
The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated that Pakistan remains committed to the principles and objectives of the UN Charter.
He further emphasized that Pakistan continues to advocate for the peaceful settlement of all longstanding conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy.
