According to details, the First Information Report (FIR) was registered at the City Chilas Police Station in Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan.

The FIR has named Khush Muhammad, a candidate of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party contesting from Tangir and reportedly the nephew of former Chief Minister Gulbar Khan, in connection with the case.
