Oil Prices Surge Again Amid Renewed US-Iran Tensions

Global oil prices have risen once again following renewed tensions between the United States and Iran, raising concerns across international energy markets.
According to the latest market data, Brent Crude Oil climbed to $111 per barrel, while WTI Crude Oil was being traded at $107 per barrel. Murban crude oil also increased to $108 per barrel.
Analysts say the sharp rise in oil prices is linked to growing geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East, particularly fears surrounding the security of the Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil shipping route.
Earlier, oil markets had already witnessed an upward trend after US President Donald Trump reportedly rejected Iranian proposals, further intensifying concerns over regional stability and energy supplies.
The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most critical oil transit chokepoints, and any disruption in the area can have an immediate impact on global crude oil prices.
