PPP Holds Massive Rally in Sakarani, Claims Major Development Drive Underway

Sakran: A large public gathering of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was held in Nasir Qalandrani Goth, Sakran, where thousands of people participated, demonstrating strong public support.
The event was attended by senior PPP leader and spokesperson for former President Asif Ali Zardari, ex-provincial minister Mir Ali Hassan Zehri. His arrival was warmly welcomed by workers and the public, creating an energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere at the venue.
Speaking at the rally, leaders highlighted PPP’s performance, stating that development work in Sakran over the past one year has surpassed what was done in the last 40 years. They described PPP as a true people’s party that understands and addresses public issues.
Mir Ali Hassan Zehri said that a new era of development has begun in Sakran. He stated that construction work on 10 major roads has been completed, while work on establishing a cadet college is also in progress. He added that upgrading Sakran to tehsil status is a major milestone.
He further announced that more than 26 kilometers of roads will be constructed across various villages in the current financial year, along with the establishment of 8 new primary and middle schools. He also noted that 7 schools have already been completed in Hassan Pir.
Criticizing the Bhotani brothers, he said they failed to deliver development during their years in power and are now trying to obstruct ongoing projects. “We have come to work, not to stop work,” he said.
Mir Ali Hassan Zehri also stated that a hospital in Sakran, resolution of electricity issues, and separation of feeders are among key priorities to provide relief to the public. He further announced plans to establish cadet colleges as well as boys’ and girls’ degree colleges to expand educational opportunities.
He also announced that Shafiq-ur-Rehman Mengal has joined the PPP, saying this will further strengthen the party in Khuzdar and the wider region.
At the end of the rally, Mir Bahram Qalandrani presented a traditional rifle as a gift to Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, marking a memorable moment of the event.
