Balochistan Levies Force Fully Merged into Police, Personnel Ordered to Report Within Seven Days

Quetta – The Director General of the Balochistan Levies Force, Abdul Ghaffar Magsi, has announced the complete merger of the Levies Force into the Balochistan Police, directing all personnel to report to the Central Police Office (CPO) in Quetta within seven days.

According to the official announcement, all Levies personnel—whether currently serving in uniform or otherwise—have been instructed to comply with the directive and report within the stipulated time frame to ensure the smooth completion of the integration process.

DG Abdul Ghaffar Magsi stated that the Levies Force has historically played a vital role in maintaining law and order, protecting lives and property, and ensuring state authority in remote and difficult areas of the province. He said the force has rendered invaluable services to the people of Balochistan, which will always be remembered.

He further noted that although the Levies Force is being administratively merged into the provincial police, its traditions, sacrifices, and legacy of public service will remain an important part of history.

Magsi expressed hope that under the new administrative structure, the spirit of public service and commitment to security will continue with the same dedication and professionalism.

The announcement marks a significant structural change in Balochistan’s law enforcement system, aimed at streamlining policing and improving coordination across the province.
