Beirut: At least 25 more people have been killed in ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon, bringing the total death toll to 773, according to Lebanese authorities.

Officials said Israeli airstrikes targeted residential buildings in several cities, including the capital Beirut, causing widespread destruction and civilian casualties.

Lebanese authorities reported that among the 773 people killed so far are 103 children and 12 members of medical staff. The number of injured has reached 1,933 as the attacks continue.

Reports indicate that Israeli aircraft struck residential areas across multiple cities, destroying several buildings and causing severe damage to civilian infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has expressed deep concern over the worsening humanitarian crisis in Lebanon.

According to Stéphane Dujarric, spokesperson for United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, around 822,000 people have been displaced in Lebanon due to the ongoing Israeli strikes, including nearly 300,000 children.

The UN warned that the humanitarian situation in Lebanon is rapidly deteriorating as continuous attacks force large numbers of civilians to flee their homes in search of safety.
