Trump Says No Deal with Iran Without Unconditional Surrender

Islamabad: Donald Trump has issued a strong statement regarding any potential agreement with Iran, saying that the only acceptable path for Tehran is unconditional surrender.
According to international media reports, the former U.S. president made the remarks on his social media platform Truth Social. In his post, Trump stated that there would be no deal with Iran unless the country fully surrenders its weapons without conditions.
He further said that once Iran surrenders, a new and more acceptable leadership could be selected for the country. Trump added that after such a transition, the United States and its allies would work to pull Iran back from the brink of destruction and help rebuild its economy.
Trump expressed hope that under such circumstances Iran could emerge stronger and more economically developed in the future. He also suggested that Iran has the potential to become a major and strong economic power again.
At the end of his statement, Trump remarked that Iran’s future could be bright and that the country needs to be “made great again,” a phrase observers say resembles his well-known political slogan.
His remarks come at a time when tensions in the region remain high, with the United States and Israel reportedly carrying out strikes on various military and strategic targets in Iran, while Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. military bases in Gulf countries.
