PESCO changes medical reimbursement procedure for employees

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has revised its procedure for processing medical reimbursement claims submitted by employees, with the new system taking effect on December 1.
As per reports, a notification has been issued outlining the revised procedure for verifying and approving medical reimbursement claims.
Under the notification, medical claims up to November 30 will be processed under the existing procedure, while claims submitted from December 1 onwards will be handled through a new centralised system.
However, PESCO’s relevant offices and field formations have been directed to implement the revised procedure.
Moreover, the notification states that medical reimbursement claims from serving employees, retired employees, and widows will be forwarded to the relevant medical superintendent for processing under the new arrangements.
