Pakistan Clinches T20 Series Against West Indies with 14-Run Win in Decider

Lauderhill, Florida:Pakistan emerged victorious in the decisive third T20I, defeating West Indies by 14 runs to win the three-match T20 series 2-1.

In a thrilling encounter at the Central Broward Regional Park, Pakistan’s captain, Salman Ali Agha, won the toss and opted to bat first. The national team posted a challenging total of 189/4 in their 20 overs, thanks to superb half-centuries from Sahibzada Farhan (74) and Saim Ayub (66). Hassan Nawaz added a valuable 15 runs, while Mohammad Haris (2), Khushdil Shah (11), and Faheem Ashraf (10) remained not out.

In reply, West Indies fell short, reaching 176/6 in their 20 overs. The Caribbean side struggled to keep up with the required run rate, despite a spirited effort. Jason Holder, Royston Chase, and Shamarh Brooks each claimed a wicket for the West Indies.

Pakistan made two changes for the final match: Haris Rauf replaced Shaheen Afridi, and Khushdil Shah came in for Fakhar Zaman. The tactical changes proved effective, and the team held their nerve to claim the series win.

The series had been tied 1-1 heading into the final match, with Pakistan winning the first game and West Indies taking the second.
