Cold and Dry Weather Expected Across Pakistan on December 16, 2024
Islamabad, December 16, 2024: The weather across Pakistan is expected to remain cold and dry on Monday, with severe cold conditions in the mountainous regions. The morning hours will likely see light fog in parts of northeastern and southern Punjab, as well as some areas of upper Sindh.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts will experience cold and dry weather, with mountainous regions facing severe cold. The sky will be partly cloudy, but light rain and snowfall are expected in areas such as Chitral, Dir, Swat, and Kurram.
In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, temperatures will drop significantly, with severe cold weather and partly cloudy skies. Light snowfall is also forecast in higher altitudes of the region.
The past 24 hours saw cold and dry weather across most of the country, with severe cold in the hilly areas and partly cloudy skies. Light fog affected parts of central and southern Punjab.
