Mashkayl Killings Were an Attack on Pakistan, Terrorists Will Be Brought to Justice: Balochistan CM

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has strongly condemned the brutal killing of unarmed and innocent workers in Mashkayl, Washuk district, describing the attack as an assault on Pakistan rather than on any single province or ethnic group.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said the victims were not just Punjabi laborers but Pakistani citizens, hardworking individuals, and “our own brothers.” He stressed that the attack targeted Pakistan’s unity, Constitution, and the authority of the state.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that militants operating under the guise of a so-called freedom movement had exposed their true intentions by targeting defenseless workers. He added that such groups are not fighting for any legitimate cause but are instead seeking to spread terror, hatred, bloodshed, and instability in Pakistan.
The Chief Minister vowed that anti-state elements and their facilitators would not be spared and that every drop of innocent Pakistani blood would be accounted for. He said all those involved in terrorism would be brought to justice and that action against those challenging the writ of the state would be intensified.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to counterterrorism, Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that Pakistan has never bowed to terrorism and never will, adding that the fight against terrorism will continue with full force until the last terrorist is eliminated.
