20-Year-Old Youth Killed in Police Firing in Quetta’s Jinnah Town

Quetta (Daily Qudrat): A 20-year-old youth, identified as Safeer, was killed in alleged police firing in the Jinnah Town area of Quetta.
According to initial details, Safeer Nawaj had reportedly taken a Kabul-style vehicle from Saryab. Police sources stated that the incident occurred after the vehicle allegedly failed to stop when signaled, following which firing took place in the Jinnah Town area.
The family of the deceased has strongly accused the police of opening fire and killing an innocent young man.
The body of Safeer Bajwa was handed over to the family from Civil Hospital Quetta. According to sources, the family instructed hospital authorities not to conduct a post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile, the SHO of Jinnah Town Police Station has not yet arrived at Civil Hospital, according to reports.
Officials from the Home Department have reportedly avoided giving any details regarding the incident, and no official statement has been issued so far.
