Aleema Khan Calls on PTI Workers to Prepare for ‘Do-or-Die’ Street Movement

Timergara: Aleema Khan has issued what she described as a final call to supporters and leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to prepare for a “do-or-die” street movement, urging party workers to remain on the streets until their demands are met.

Addressing an organizational convention in Timergara, Aleema Khan said the time had come for party workers to take the lead and encourage PTI lawmakers to actively participate in the movement. She claimed some elected representatives were hesitant because they feared they might not receive public support, and urged workers to mobilize them.

Rejecting reports of internal divisions within the party, Aleema Khan said PTI remained united and called on supporters to fully prepare for the planned protest campaign.

She criticized the federal government, alleging that it had failed on administrative, economic, and judicial fronts, and urged party members to intensify efforts in support of PTI founder Imran Khan. According to her, Imran Khan had instructed the party leadership a year earlier to strengthen its organizational structure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and prepare for a street movement.

Commenting on speculation about possible negotiations, Aleema Khan dismissed the idea, arguing that the party should first demonstrate its public support through peaceful public mobilization before considering talks. She also claimed that Imran Khan had been held in solitary confinement for the past eight months and said the party would continue its campaign until its objectives were achieved.

Her remarks reflect the PTI leadership’s political position and criticism of the government. Government authorities have previously rejected similar allegations made by PTI regarding political persecution and the treatment of the former prime minister.
