Cold Weather Continues Across the Country, New Western System to Bring Rain in Balochistan

Islamabad:Most parts of the country remain under the grip of severe cold, with a new western weather system expected to enter Balochistan today, bringing rain.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, rain with thunder and snowfall on the mountains is likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan starting today.

Officials from the Meteorological Department have stated that cold winds are persisting in northern areas of Balochistan, including Quetta, causing temperatures to remain harsh. The new western system is expected to bring rain to these areas starting today.

Meanwhile, dense fog continues to affect parts of Punjab, with several motorways remaining closed. The M3 motorway from Samundri to Dera Ghazi Khan, M4 from Gojra to Multan, and M5 from Multan to Rohri are currently closed due to low visibility.
