Pakistan-Saudi Arabia-Türkiye Defence Pact a Major Milestone for Regional Security and Stability: Babar Yousafzai

QUETTA: Balochistan Home Affairs Adviser Babar Yousafzai has described the historic defence agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye as a major milestone for collective security, stability and peace in the region.
In a statement, Yousafzai said the agreement reflected the strong trust and friendship among the three brotherly countries and demonstrated their shared commitment to protecting sovereignty, national security and regional peace.
He said Pakistan’s strong defence capabilities, Türkiye’s advanced defence technology and Saudi Arabia’s economic and diplomatic influence provided the three countries with a unique and powerful partnership that could contribute to regional stability and the balance of power.
Yousafzai stressed that the defence agreement should not be viewed as an arrangement directed against any particular country. Instead, he said, it represented the three nations’ commitment to mutual security, sovereignty and defence.
“Strong defence is the foundation of sustainable peace,” he said, adding that Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye standing shoulder to shoulder sent a clear message to the world that brotherly countries were united in protecting their shared interests, peace and security.
The Balochistan Home Affairs adviser described the agreement as a source of pride for Pakistan and an important diplomatic and defence development.
He said Pakistan was proud of its armed forces, national leadership and strong partnerships with Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
Yousafzai expressed hope that the cooperation would open a new era of regional peace, stability, defence collaboration and stronger ties among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
