Pilgrims Complain of Poor Accommodation and Food in Makkah, Religious Minister Assures Action

Islamabad (KNN) — Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah have raised serious concerns over accommodation and food arrangements, alleging poor living conditions during their stay.
According to details, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf visited a hotel in Makkah where pilgrims lodged complaints about being accommodated in old and poorly maintained buildings.
The pilgrims claimed that up to five people were being placed in a single room with only one cupboard provided. They further alleged that substandard and sometimes burnt food was being served, which caused illness among several pilgrims.
Expressing their grievances, the pilgrims urged authorities to take immediate action to improve arrangements for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims.
On the occasion, Federal Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousaf assured the pilgrims that strict action would be taken against those responsible for mismanagement and negligence, stating that no one involved in poor arrangements would be spared.
