Nine Suspected Militants Killed in Two Operations in Balochistan

QUETTA:Security forces and law enforcement agencies have continued operations against what authorities describe as the Fitna al-Hindustan network in Balochistan, killing nine suspected militants, including a commander, in two separate operations.
According to security sources, three militants, including commander Naqeeb, were killed in an operation in Mastung after a vehicle allegedly linked to the group was targeted by a quadcopter. The vehicle was completely destroyed in the strike.
Security sources said operations against militant elements would continue until the last suspected terrorist was eliminated.
Meanwhile, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an intelligence-based operation in Saranan, Pishin. Six suspected militants were killed in an exchange of fire, according to officials.
The CTD spokesperson said four personnel were also injured during the exchange. The slain suspects were reportedly affiliated with a banned organisation, while weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site.
According to the CTD, the killed suspects were allegedly involved in attacks against security forces and civilians.
Authorities said security operations would continue against militant groups involved in attacks and violence across Balochistan.
