Emergency Alert Issued in Khamis Mushait and Abha Over Potential Threats
KHAMIS MUSHAIT (Qudrat Roznama) – An emergency alert has been issued by Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia’s southern regions of Khamis Mushait and Abha in view of potential threats, instructing citizens and foreign residents to exercise extreme caution. According to Arab media, Saudi Civil Defense authorities, while issuing a warning through social media and other communication channels, said that in view of an unusual or dangerous situation in the Abha and Khamis Mushait areas, all citizens need to adopt protective measures.
In this emergency notice issued by Saudi Civil Defense, the public has been urged to strictly follow the security and safety instructions issued by the relevant government agencies, avoid leaving their homes unnecessarily, and especially stay away from locations where security or unusual threats could potentially arise.

It has been reported that, along with this, instructions have also been given to immediately contact official Civil Defense helpline numbers in the event of any emergency or unforeseen disaster. Authorities further said that all relevant security, medical, and rescue agencies are fully on high alert to deal with any possible situation and to ensure the protection of public life and property.
It is pertinent to note that Abha and Khamis Mushait are counted among Saudi Arabia’s most important southern cities, where, along with the urban population, a number of important economic and infrastructure installations are also located.
