Donald Trump Claims Global Oil Tankers Heading to US for Energy Supplies

Washington: Donald Trump has claimed that a large number of empty oil tankers from around the world are heading toward the United States to purchase high-quality oil and gas.
According to reports, Trump made the statement on his social media platform, Truth Social, asserting that global demand for US energy resources is surging. He said that “massive empty oil tankers” are arriving to load what he described as the world’s “best and highest-quality oil and gas.”
Trump further claimed that the United States possesses oil reserves exceeding the combined reserves of the next two largest oil-producing economies, adding that the quality of American resources is also superior.
He invited countries to take advantage of the situation, saying they are welcome to come and quickly load oil and gas supplies.
However, the claims regarding the influx of oil tankers and the scale of demand have not been independently verified.
The remarks come amid broader global energy concerns, including tensions affecting supply routes such as the Strait of Hormuz and ongoing uncertainties in international oil markets.
