Turkish President Erdogan Calls Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Praises Pakistan’s “Bold Leadership” in Halting Iran-US Conflict

Islamabad: President Recep Tayyip Erdogan telephoned Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to congratulate him on Pakistan’s historic diplomatic efforts in preventing a potentially catastrophic conflict between Iran and the United States in the Gulf.

Erdogan lauded Sharif’s “bold and prudent leadership” and emphasized that Pakistan’s tireless and sincere diplomacy helped the region avoid large-scale human suffering and destruction of critical infrastructure.

He also reaffirmed Turkey’s full support for Pakistan in promoting peace and stability in the region. Prime Minister Sharif thanked President Erdogan for his encouragement and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to playing a key and responsible role in fostering global peace and regional security.
