Drone Attack from Afghanistan Kills 3 Chinese Workers in Tajikistan

Islamabad (Daily Qudrat) — Terrorist activities originating from Afghanistan are posing a threat not only to Pakistan but also to its neighboring countries. In a recent cross-border incident, a drone attack from Afghan territory killed three Chinese employees in Tajikistan.

According to a statement from the Tajik Embassy in Kuwait, despite continuous efforts by Tajik authorities to maintain peace and security in the border regions, hostile actions from Afghanistan continue. On the night of November 26, terrorists from Afghanistan carried out an armed drone attack on a camp of LLC Shaheen SM employees in the border area of Yovl, located in Khatlon province, near the first guard post of the “Istiqlol” region. The attack involved hand grenades and firearms mounted on an unmanned aircraft.

As a result, three Chinese employees of LLC Shaheen SM were killed. Tajik authorities expressed serious concern over the ongoing sabotage by criminal groups operating from Afghanistan and condemned the attacks in the strongest terms. They called on Afghan officials to take effective measures to ensure stability and security along the shared border.
