Minister Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Damr Condemns Kidnapping of Assistant Commissioner Ziarat, Announces Rs 5 Million Reward for Information

Quetta:Senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Provincial Minister for Food, Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Damr, has strongly condemned the recent abduction of Assistant Commissioner (AC) Ziarat and his son from the Zizri area of Ziarat. He assured that the Balochistan government, in collaboration with security forces, is making all necessary efforts for their safe recovery.

In a statement and audio message issued on Sunday, Minister Damr announced a reward of Rs 5 million for anyone who provides credible information leading to the safe recovery of the Assistant Commissioner and his son. He urged the people of Ziarat and Hernai districts to assist security forces in the recovery operation.

“The abduction of the Assistant Commissioner is a serious matter, and we condemn it in the strongest terms. The kidnappers released his family but took the Assistant Commissioner and his son to an unknown location,” said Minister Damr. He urged the residents of both Ziarat and Hernai to actively participate in the search for the missing officials and to cooperate with the security forces.

Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Damr further appealed to the tribal leaders of the region to use their influence and support security agencies in monitoring the mountainous areas of Ziarat and Hernai. He emphasized that the people of Ziarat and Hernai are responsible for ensuring the safe recovery of their guest, the Assistant Commissioner, and that all tribal leaders should mobilize their resources to support the authorities.

“The Assistant Commissioner is our guest, and his safe recovery is not only the responsibility of the government but also of the people of Ziarat and Hernai. We must all come together to bring him back safely,” he stated.

The provincial minister also assured that the Ziarat and Hernai administrations, along with security forces, are conducting extensive search operations in the mountainous regions and have set up roadblocks to ensure that the kidnappers are caught. He expressed hope that the security forces would soon succeed in recovering the Assistant Commissioner and his son.

The Balochistan government is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of its citizens, and the cooperation of the local community is vital for the success of the operation.
