JUI Accuses Establishment of Deliberate Exclusion from Electoral Process; Prepares for Historic “Israel Murdabad Million March” in Quetta

QUETTA — The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) leadership has accused powerful forces of systematically sidelining the party from the electoral process, limiting its political influence, and suppressing its message. Speaking ahead of the upcoming “Israel Murdabad Million March” on May 15, JUI Balochistan chief Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey, General Secretary Maulana Agha Mehmood Shah, and provincial spokesperson Dilawar Khan Kakar jointly emphasized that the march would not merely be a protest, but a powerful expression of Islamic unity, political awareness, and solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.
They declared that Quetta would witness a historic event on May 15, with hundreds of thousands of committed JUI workers and faithful Muslims rallying to defend the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and voice resistance against Zionist oppression. “This will be a moment for the world to see that the Muslim Ummah is alive and its faith remains strong,” they stated.
The leadership said that preparations for the massive march had entered their final phase, with mobilization in every district and grassroots efforts underway to spread the message of Palestine in every mosque, street, and market. “Every conscientious soul is now asking: when will the Ummah rise? And every JUI worker is replying: we are the torches that will not be extinguished by the winds of tyranny.”
They emphasized that the event will reflect the collective voice of a movement rooted in Islamic consciousness, faith-driven politics, and resistance to imperial and Zionist agendas. The highlight of the day will be the keynote speech by JUI leader Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, which they described as more than a speech—it will be a manifesto for the Ummah, a plan of action for the Muslim nation, and a bold challenge to the forces of oppression.
The JUI leaders said that Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman would also address Pakistan’s internal political crisis, exposing what they claim are unconstitutional policies and anti-democratic practices aimed at excluding religious parties from the political mainstream. “JUI is being deliberately marginalized because it challenges the status quo and exposes the false promises of Western liberalism,” they said.
They accused global imperialism and its local facilitators of fearing JUI because it stands as a strong barrier against their agenda. “Our so-called ‘crime’ is that we defend Palestine, Kashmir, and Afghanistan. We stand for Islamic values, protect the ideology of Pakistan, and are the voice of religious seminaries,” they asserted.
With leadership visits across all districts of Balochistan in full swing, the JUI leadership stated that the ongoing mobilization is awakening public consciousness not only for Palestine but for Pakistan’s national sovereignty, constitutional rights, and Islamic identity.
“This march is not just a protest—it is a milestone in the revival of the Ummah. It is a call of truth, a challenge to oppression, and a ray of hope for the oppressed,” they concluded. “The blood of Palestinians is a debt on our conscience, and JUI workers will not rest until that debt is honored. On May 15, the streets of Quetta will echo with a cry that will resonate through history.”
