Quetta Double Murder Case: Absconding Police Inspector Under Investigation, Use of Official Weapon Suspected

Quetta: Police have intensified efforts to arrest a nominated suspect, a sub-inspector, in the murder case of two brothers on Kasi Road, as investigations continue into the possible use of a government-issued weapon in the crime.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Asif Khan stated that the investigation is underway from all angles and key facts will soon be brought to light. He said authorities are verifying whether the accused inspector, Naqeebullah, used an official pistol during the incident, with evidence currently being collected.

The SSP Operations confirmed that raids are being conducted at multiple locations to apprehend the suspect, who remains at large. He stressed that the law applies equally to everyone and no influential individual will be given any leniency.

Police have also launched an inquiry into possible facilitation in the crime to identify any accomplices who may have assisted in the murders.

Asif Khan assured that justice will be ensured at all costs and that the victims’ family will not be left alone. He also urged the public and media to avoid spreading unverified information regarding this sensitive case and rely only on confirmed reports.

Authorities added that police teams are working diligently to bring the fugitive suspect to justice and provide relief to the affected family.
