Quetta Cracks Down on Deadly One-Wheeling Trend, 107 Motorcycles Seized

Quetta: Quetta Traffic Police have launched a large-scale crackdown against dangerous one-wheeling on city roads, seizing more than 107 motorcycles used for risky stunts.

The operation is being carried out on the special directives of SSP Traffic Mirza Bilal Hassan, targeting areas including Airport Road, Kuchlak Bypass, and surrounding localities where young riders are frequently seen performing hazardous stunts.

According to a traffic police spokesperson, the primary objective of the campaign is to protect human lives and ensure public safety, as one-wheeling has become a major cause of road accidents in the city.

In addition to enforcement actions, the traffic police have also launched an awareness campaign through FM Traffic Radio, urging parents to monitor their children’s activities and encourage adherence to traffic laws.

SSP Traffic Mirza Bilal Hassan emphasized that strict legal action will continue against those involved in one-wheeling, adding that no leniency will be shown to individuals turning public roads into race tracks.
