Balochistan Govt Enforces Austerity Measures; Official’s Vehicle Seized Over Violation

Quetta: The Balochistan government has begun strict enforcement of austerity measures, taking action against officials violating directives issued by the Chief Minister.

According to official sources, a district officer of the Livestock and Dairy Development Department in Quetta faced disciplinary action after failing to comply with the government’s instructions. Authorities seized the officer’s official vehicle as part of the action.

The officer has been formally asked to provide an explanation, while orders have been issued to deposit the vehicle into the departmental pool.

A formal notification has also been issued by the Livestock and Dairy Development Department, emphasizing that violations of government directives will not be tolerated. Officials stated that strict monitoring is underway to ensure full compliance with austerity measures across all departments.
