Lahore:Mohsin Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has stated that no discussions have taken place regarding the continuity of Babar Azam as captain. Speaking to journalists in Lahore, Mohsin Khan mentioned that today’s meeting focused on domestic cricket with players. Consultations were held with players on improving domestic cricket structure.
Chairman PCB emphasized that players advocated for enhancing the domestic structure and advised against any relaxation on fitness standards. Mohsin Khan clarified that there have been no meetings with coaches yet.
During the interaction, a journalist asked PCB Chairman about whether Babar Azam will continue as captain, to which Mohsin Khan replied that there have been no discussions on this matter yet.
On the other hand, there was a meeting between PCB Chairman and the newly appointed head coach of the Pakistan national team, Grant Flower, along with assistant coach Azhar Mahmood. Their second session is scheduled for later today.
