Ex-Pakistan Women’s Cricket Captain Arooj Mumtaz Shows Professionalism by Treating JP Duminy’s Teeth

Karachi:Arooj Mumtaz, the former captain of Pakistan’s women’s cricket team, recently showcased her remarkable skills beyond cricket when she treated African cricketer JP Duminy’s dental issue. Arooj, who is a qualified dentist by profession, has not only represented Pakistan internationally but also excelled in other roles such as a commentator and presenter for the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Arooj Mumtaz captained Pakistan’s women’s cricket team during the 2009 Women’s Cricket World Cup and went on to become the first Pakistani woman commentator in the 2020 Men’s T20 World Cup. She currently serves as a commentator in PSL as well.

Apart from her cricketing accomplishments, Arooj holds a degree in dentistry and has received the prestigious “Dental Personality of 2024” award by Dental News, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the medical field.
