Hunain Shah Shines as Hyderabad Kings Defeat Islamabad United

Hyderabad: Hunain Shah said every player gives their 100 percent in a match, and he did the same by sticking to his plan, crediting his success to faith and hard work.
Speaking at a press conference after Hyderabad Kings defeated Islamabad United, Hunain said he had worked tirelessly for six to seven months ahead of the Pakistan Super League.
“I came back from injury—it was a tough phase—but I stayed focused, worked hard, and targeted the PSL,” he said.
Hunain also credited Naseem Shah for his support during that period, saying he helped him deal with pressure and challenges.
Reflecting on the match, Hunain revealed that while defending six runs, there wasn’t much discussion. “I had faith in Allah and aimed to bowl six yorkers, setting the field accordingly,” he explained.
He highlighted the importance of crowd support, saying it always boosts players’ morale and helped him perform better.
Hunain added that his coach advised him to keep a clear mind regardless of how the bowling goes, a principle he followed during the game.
Looking ahead to the final, he said the team will keep things simple. “All our players are match-winners. We are performing well and aim to continue this momentum in the final,” he concluded.
