HDP Demands Halt to Illegal AI-Based Recruitments in Finance and Forest Departments, Warns Merit Violations Opening Door to Nepotism

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — The Hazara Democratic Party (HDP), expressing serious concern over recruitments in violation of rules and regulations and the trampling of merit in various provincial departments, has said that the wave of AI-named recruitments that began in the Finance Department is now spreading to the Forest Department and other departments, as a result of which the rights of deserving, capable, and eligible candidates are feared to be affected.
In a central statement issued by the party, it was said that concerns of violations of rules and merit exist in recruitments carried out in the name of AI, while the path to recruitment through nepotism and recommendation could be opened. Through this process, eligible and deserving candidates may be deprived of their legitimate right.
The statement further said that the High Court has highlighted the matter of filling Quetta’s vacancies through transfers in the Education Department. This practice has been ongoing since 2013 and has not remained limited to the Education Department alone; rather, through transfers, the rights of Quetta’s citizens have continued to be affected in other departments as well.
The Hazara Democratic Party demanded that notice be taken of these alleged illegal actions that are contrary to the rights of Quetta’s citizens, and that recruitments and transfers made in violation of rules and law should also be reviewed and legal action taken against them.
