Sindh Assembly Has Put a Full Stop on the Issue of a New Province in Sindh: Bilawal

ISLAMABAD (Daily Qudrat): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, rejecting any consultation with the federation on the 28th Amendment, has said that the Sindh Assembly has put a full stop on the issue of a new province in Sindh.
Addressing an event in Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the PPP’s stance on the issue of the province is clear and has been presented repeatedly; the people of Sindh and their elected representatives have announced their decision, and only the people of Sindh can decide Sindh’s fate.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that it is not the job of politicians to create hatred and division among people. He said that people from Karachi included in the federal cabinet have not done a single penny’s worth of work in the city, the federal government does not take interest in Karachi, and its representatives are busy spreading hatred in the city.
He said that the federal government should focus on Karachi, and if federal and provincial institutions work together in the city, the people can be served.
The PPP chairman said that it is the government’s duty to create ease for the people; inflation and unemployment are at their peak in the country, and the Sindh government is trying to reduce the people’s economic burden. Electricity bills have risen so much that people face difficulties in paying them. He said he was thinking that if only we could shift the entire Lyari to solar energy; the Sindh government is trying to provide solar energy to the people of Lyari.
