Those Challenging the State’s Writ in Balochistan Will Meet a Dismal Fate: Sarfraz Bugti

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has expressed satisfaction over the successful and effective operations conducted by security forces in Nokcha, Chagai, and Ziarat Cross, Pishin, and paid tribute to the security personnel for their performance.
In a statement, Chief Minister Bugti said there would be no compromise in the fight against terrorism and that the enemies of peace would be defeated at all costs. He said there was no place in Balochistan for those seeking to destabilize the province at the behest of foreign forces.
Sarfraz Bugti said no compromise would be made on the protection of national highways and the lives and property of the people. He added that facilitators of terrorists and criminal elements would also not be able to escape the law.
Warning the militants, the chief minister said those challenging the writ of the state in Balochistan would meet a dismal fate. Operations to dismantle the terrorism network would continue with full force.
He said terrorists could not intimidate the people of Balochistan despite their efforts. The sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain, and the fight would continue until terrorism was completely eliminated.
Bugti said security forces had once again foiled the nefarious designs of terrorists. There would be no safe haven for enemies of peace in Balochistan, and those taking up arms against the state would be dealt with forcefully in accordance with the law.
The chief minister said protecting the lives and property of the people of Balochistan was the state’s responsibility, and the government would not back down from fulfilling this responsibility.
