PTI Founder’s Health Is Very Important, Allow Meetings, Barrister Gohar Urges
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has urged authorities to allow meetings with the party’s founder, stressing that his health is of utmost importance.
Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar said he hoped a bench would be constituted today to hear the contempt of court petition so that the matter could be taken up the day after tomorrow.
According to Jang, Barrister Gohar said meetings with family members were also necessary in accordance with the Supreme Court’s orders.
“Today is the day for meetings. I would request that the meetings be allowed to take place,” he said.
He added that no information had emerged from the previous meeting and said the PTI had fulfilled its commitment.
Barrister Gohar reiterated that the health of the PTI founder was extremely important and called for compliance with the court’s directions regarding meetings with his family members.
