Kashmiri People’s Sacrifices Will Not Go in Vain, Says Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Kashmir Solidarity Day

**Quetta:** On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that the Kashmiri people are engaged in the struggle for freedom and the right to self-determination against India’s oppressive occupation. He said the day is not far when these sacrifices will bear fruit and the Kashmiri people will achieve their rightful goals. Thousands of young men, children, elders, and women have already laid down their lives in this noble struggle.
The Chief Minister emphasized that sustainable peace in the region is only possible if the Kashmir issue is resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and United Nations resolutions. He highlighted that the Kashmir dispute is a fundamental and longstanding issue between Pakistan and India, and without a fair resolution, the dream of peace in South Asia cannot be realized.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti condemned India for violating the basic human rights of Kashmiris through military occupation and continuous oppression of innocent civilians. However, he noted that these atrocities can no longer be hidden from the international community, nor can the voices of the Kashmiri people be suppressed.
He urged the international community to take serious notice of Indian atrocities, ensure the implementation of UN resolutions, and play an effective role in securing the Kashmiri people’s legitimate right to self-determination.
The Chief Minister reiterated that Pakistan’s moral and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri people has been unwavering in the past and will continue with full strength in the future. He said that the hearts of the Pakistani nation beat in solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers, and the people of Balochistan are no exception in expressing their support.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed hope that the day is near when the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people will bear fruit, Kashmir will be liberated from Indian oppression, and emerge as a free and sovereign state on the global horizon.
