Deputy Senate Chairman Meets NADRA Balochistan DG to Discuss Improved Public Services

Quetta: Syedal Khan Nasar, Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, held a meeting with Naveed Jan Sahibzada, Director General of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Balochistan, to discuss improving public services and institutional performance in the Quetta region.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on providing modern services in NADRA offices, enhancing operational efficiency, and introducing advanced technology to facilitate citizens. They also reviewed proposals to expand NADRA’s services to remote and underdeveloped areas of the province.

Speaking on the occasion, Syedal Khan Nasar said NADRA is a key national institution that plays an important role in strengthening trust between the state and citizens through the timely issuance of identity documents. He emphasized the need to further improve and expand NADRA services in underdeveloped and remote areas of Balochistan so people can obtain identity cards and other essential documents without difficulty.

He stressed that introducing modern facilities and advanced technology in NADRA offices across Balochistan is essential, particularly in distant regions, so that residents there can receive the same level of services available in major cities. He added that access to modern technology would help integrate people from less developed areas into the national development process.

On the occasion, Naveed Jan Sahibzada briefed the deputy senate chairman on ongoing reforms, service improvements, and various initiatives taken by NADRA in Balochistan to enhance public convenience. He reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to further improve services and provide modern facilities to the people of the province.
