Those Dreaming of Changing Government Will Gain Nothing, Says Sardar Baz Muhammad Khetran

QUETTA – Senior politician and member of the Central Executive Committee of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Sardar Baz Muhammad Khetran, has said that the provincial government led by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti will complete its constitutional five-year term.
Speaking to journalists in Quetta, Khetran dismissed speculation regarding a possible change in the provincial government, saying those dreaming of replacing the current administration “will get nothing.”
He said the coalition government in Balochistan is continuing development work across all constituencies without discrimination despite various challenges.
Khetran claimed that the provincial government has taken effective steps against corruption and ensured merit-based employment opportunities for unemployed youth. He added that young people are being trained in different sectors and sent abroad for employment opportunities, with hundreds already benefiting from such programs.
He also highlighted welfare initiatives launched by the provincial government, including the health card scheme, under which thousands of patients have reportedly received free treatment in major hospitals across Pakistan.
According to him, the government is also introducing a farmer card program to provide subsidies on seeds, fertilizers, and agricultural equipment, while a “Peoples Air Ambulance” service is being launched to transport patients to hospitals in other provinces during emergencies.
Khetran welcomed the visit of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to Balochistan, stating that during his stay in Quetta he will inaugurate several development projects and meet party leaders, provincial ministers, lawmakers, and delegations from different sectors.
He reiterated that there is currently no alternative to Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti in Balochistan and claimed the public is satisfied with his performance.
