State Has a Big Heart for Those Who Return, Otherwise the End Is Hell: Balochistan CM Warns Terrorists

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has issued a strong warning to terrorists, declaring that the state will never allow any ideology to be imposed at gunpoint and that it is not a state that can be exhausted through violence.

Addressing a passing-out parade at the Police Training College (PTC) Quetta, the chief minister announced a historic and decisive policy shift, stating that all ‘B Areas’ (Levies-controlled areas) in Balochistan are being converted into ‘A Areas’ under police control. Following this decision, the responsibility for maintaining law and order across the entire province will rest with the police. He described the move as difficult but unavoidable in the larger interest of lasting peace.

Paying rich tribute to the martyrs of the Police Training College, the chief minister said the enemy wanted to shut down educational institutions, training centers, academies and universities, but today enrollments at these institutions have doubled, reflecting the resilience of the state and society.

In an emotional message, he extended an offer to “misguided individuals” in the mountains, saying that if they return to the constitutional framework of Pakistan, the state has a big heart, but warned that those who continue to resist would meet a “hellish end.”

Addressing the newly passed-out police officers, CM Bugti urged them to uphold the honor of the uniform, remain free from corruption, and dedicate themselves to serving the public with honesty and professionalism.

He also announced several development measures for the Police Training College, including the provision of a dedicated electricity feeder, upgradation of the training ground, resolution of sewerage issues, and an increase in family quarters from 60 to 80 to improve welfare facilities for police personnel.
