Saudi Arabia Announces Safety Wristbands for Children Performing Hajj and Umrah

*Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):*
The Saudi government has announced a major safety initiative for pilgrims performing Hajj and Umrah with children, aimed at enhancing protection and care for the guests of Allah.
Millions of pilgrims from around the world visit the Holy Kaaba and the Prophet’s Mosque every year to perform Hajj and Umrah. Due to massive crowds, congestion, and extreme heat, ensuring the safety of children has become a significant challenge, as children can easily get separated from their parents or guardians in such circumstances.
To address this issue, special safety wristbands will be provided to children at the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) and the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The announcement was made by officials of the General Authority responsible for the affairs of the two holy mosques.
According to the officials, these smart wristbands worn on the wrist will contain complete details of parents or guardians. In case a child gets lost or separated, immediate identification will be possible, enabling authorities to quickly locate the parents and safely reunite the child with them.
The specially designed wristbands for children will be available at Bab Abdul Aziz and Bab Fahd (Gate No. 79), where dedicated staff will also be present to assist with registration and guidance for pilgrims.
