Saudi FM Says Pakistan-Türkiye-Saudi Defense Pact Will Promote Regional Peace

Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has welcomed the recently announced defense agreement between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Türkiye, saying it will contribute to regional peace and stability with positive implications for the wider region.

According to media reports, the Saudi foreign minister said the joint defense pact reflects the strong ties between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Türkiye. He described the Makkah Agreement as a significant milestone in defense cooperation among the three countries.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan said the agreement demonstrates the shared political commitment of the three nations to safeguarding peace and stability. He added that closer defense cooperation would help strengthen regional security and produce positive effects across the region.

The agreement, signed by Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Türkiye, reportedly provides that an attack on any one of the three member states will be regarded as an attack on all three countries.
