Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Attends U.S. National Prayer Breakfast Hosted by President Trump

Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, attended the U.S. National Prayer Breakfast hosted by President Donald Trump on Wednesday.
The prayer breakfast, held in Washington, commenced at 7 a.m. local time, with Bilawal arriving on time to participate in the event, which lasted until approximately 1 p.m. local time. The event was attended by important figures from around the world.
Bilawal’s participation in the prayer breakfast comes at a time when his father, former President Asif Ali Zardari, is in China for a five-day visit. During his visit, President Zardari met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall, where he reiterated that Pakistan considers China its primary ally. This symbolic alignment of two prominent leaders—one in the U.S. and the other in China—illustrates the active diplomatic role being played by both of Pakistan’s key political figures simultaneously.
Bilawal’s attendance at this high-profile event is notable as it marks the first time he has participated in a gathering hosted by President Trump. He arrived in the U.S. on Monday to attend this prestigious event, while the country is hosting multiple national prayer and faith events this week, where President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are also participating.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari continues his visit to China, where he had a meeting with his Chinese counterpart on Wednesday.
