Temporary Appointment Orders Issued for SBK Project Teachers in Gwadar District

Pasni:Under the SBK (School-Based Knowledge) project, the issuance of appointment orders for teachers has officially begun in Gwadar district. Nearly 300 candidates, after a prolonged wait, have received temporary appointment letters valid for a period of 18 months.

According to the terms outlined in the appointment letters, the postings are strictly temporary. Appointed teachers are required to submit an affidavit stating that they will not be eligible to request transfers during the tenure of their appointment. Additionally, there will be no entitlement to pension or gratuity under this employment.

Performance monitoring will be conducted using the PKI (Performance Key Indicator) system, which will be provided by the respective District Education Officer. The appointees will also bear the cost of verifying their academic documents, as per department policy. More rules and regulations may be introduced over time as the project progresses.

This initiative aims to address the shortage of teachers in the region and improve educational outcomes, albeit on a short-term contractual basis.
