Komal Aziz Khan Reveals Why She Is Afraid of Marriage: Actress Opens Up

Islamabad: Pakistani actress Komal Aziz Khan, known for her beauty and talent, recently appeared on a morning show and shared a personal aspect of her life that took her fans by surprise. During the interview, when the host asked her about her biggest fear, Komal candidly admitted that marriage has become a symbol of fear for her.
The actress explained that while she is brave enough to stand in protests, run businesses, and face controversies, the thought of marriage leaves her feeling anxious. According to Komal, the marriages she witnessed around her during childhood were not inspiring enough to encourage her to consider marriage in a positive light. This observation has led to her hesitation and fear surrounding the concept of marriage.
Komal further shared that her priority has always been independence—earning her own living, making decisions for herself. For this reason, she would only consider marriage seriously if she is certain that her freedom and autonomy will not be compromised. She also revealed that many women in her office have left their jobs after getting married, which has remained a constant concern for her.
However, Komal also clarified that in her family, there is no environment where women are restricted after marriage, and this has helped reduce her fear over time. In a previous interview, Komal made it clear that she would marry someone who is more successful and earns more than her, as she believes that equality and understanding are the foundation of a successful relationship. She acknowledged that the high standards she has set for her future partner are a major reason for the delay in her marriage.
