Security Forces Eliminate Two Militants Including High-Value Target in Timergara Operation

Rawalpindi: Security forces have successfully neutralized two militants, including a high-value target identified as Hafeezullah alias “Kochwan,” during an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Timergara, Lower Dir district.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out during the night between April 10 and 11 based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists. Following a fierce exchange of fire, two militants were killed, one of whom was Hafeezullah—an individual involved in numerous terrorist activities targeting security forces and innocent civilians.
The security forces launched a precise and strategic assault after cordoning off the area, effectively targeting the militant hideout. Hafeezullah was considered a high-value target and was on the most-wanted list of law enforcement agencies. The government had placed a bounty of PKR 10 million on his head.
A clearance operation is ongoing in the area due to concerns over the possible presence of more militants. The Pakistan Army remains resolute in its mission to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.
